Before we discuss joining we encourage all runners to try us out for size first.
Running is for everyone. We encourage runners of all abilities to join us at The University of Northampton on the first Wednesday of each month at 6.45pm.

Please read this information before you come. There is limited time for us to explain what we do on the night.
We do run beginners groups. Cick here for information. You dont have to be fast, but you must be able to run 5k at 11 minute miling to come along to the main group.
You can visit us 2 times before you need to make a decision about joining.
We deliberately do not have formal coaches or performance expectations. Frankly who needs the pressure! What you acheive is up to you, but believe me, your performance will improve and you'll get addicted to the sport if you join.
We provide training nights on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We encourage visitors to come along on the first Wednesday of the month (but you can come any week). Check the contact page of this site for directions. We will try to have someone on the door to welcome you on arrival. When you arrive please ask for a committee member who will help you find the right run leader. After a warm-up we have a route briefing and divide runners into 5k, 5 mile, 7 mile and 9 miles groups. Each group runs at several speeds.
The club is packed with runners of all abilities. You don't have to enter races to be a member. But if you do you will have a massive choice of events that we run. We run road, trail and cross country races throughout the year. Whatever you want to achieve you can do it with us.
