If you didn’t order food, you are still welcome to come for a drink.
Note, food orders will be checked on a list held by the pub (not the raffle ticket system like previous years).
! Unfortunately, the pub has informed us this week they have insufficient kitchen infrastructure to cope with the expected NRR demand, therefore potatoes cut into elongated strips and cooked by deep frying until the interior is soft and the exterior achieves the required texture and colour are right out. There will be jacket potatoes instead. We know you love your chips, but please don’t take it out on us (or the pub either). We will take up with the pub after the event.

We’re Looking to Build a Social Media Team! We need a few enthusiastic members to help with our social media presence, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
Whether you enjoy taking photos, filming videos, creating reels, writing posts, or just have great ideas for content(we really need ideas people!), we’d love to have you involved. You don’t need to be an expert—just keen to help showcase our amazing club and its members.
We would like a small team to keep our social media fresh and engaging, and hopefully attract even more people to join us.
If you’d like to get involved or find out more, please drop me a message on chair@northamptonroadrunners.co.uk or speak to one of the committee members directly.

July 2026
Saturday 11th July- Bury Field Club Day. A group of NRR will be heading to Bury Field parkrun with the club flag and colours to celebrate all things running, jogging and walking. Will stay for coffee or picnic afterwards, weather depending.
August 2026
Parkrun ‘Z’ trip Saturday 8th August
Kelvin is planning a trip to Zuiderpark parkrun in The Hague, Netherlands. Join the Parkrun group if you’d like to talk logistics and travel dates.
September 2026
Marathon du Médoc- Saturday 5th Sept. The slowest marathon you’ll ever run — over 20 wine and food stops through French vineyards. Fancy dress is a must, with a different theme each year-the chosen theme for 2026 is the 1980s!
This event is now sold out but register for the waiting list if you missed the chance.
Bushy parkrun trip – Saturday 19th September. A club outing is being planned – please speak to Lily Hemmens or join the parkrun WhatsApp group if you have any questions about travel logistics.
October 2026
Snowdon marathon – 24th Oct. The chaos has started. If you are running, spectating, or just thinking of running or spectating, or mildly interested in spectating or running. Join the WhatsApp group where people will be discussing spectating or running.
November 2026
Benidorm Half Marathon and 10k – 21st Nov. Come and join the already big group getting a few days away from the cold of Northampton and running this event. Join the WhatsApp group and find out more.
