Gatliff Marathon Challenge
Wendy and Ronnie completed the Gatliff Marathon Challenge on Sunday 25th November. The Gatliff has different routes each year through rural countryside (Surrey and Kent) using footpaths and tracks. The objective is to complete the distance within 10 hours following written directions (tricky in places!) and reporting at checkpoints. We completed the 35k route which actually turned out to be just over 27 miles in 6 hours 49 minutes! Lovely countryside with a fair amount of mud, fields and good views even with a bit of drizzle!
