The Squeaky Bone Relay

One thing for sure, NRR are quite a serious running club! They take their racing serious, as the name suggests, always on roads and they would never embarrass themselves. Well that is a crazy statement for starters!

NRR love to have fun and eight members took the fun element to a new limit on Sunday 1^st November at the Squeaky Bone Relay in Olney.

Two teams, the NRR Hungarian Vizslas and The Randoms made up of Pete Moor, Richard Wild, Dve Green and Stuart Drummond (the ones in fancy dress) and Sarah Jones, Sarah Foxton-Davies, Penny Andrews and Norbert Mahlik ran the 3.5 mile off road relay race.

The NRR Hungarian Vizslas finished in 6^th place overall and The Randoms were 8^th.

Dave Green said, “At least we didn’t embarrass ourselves!”  Maybe the picture will tell a different story.
