Kimbolton Half Marathon
A great day for NRR at the Kimbolton Half Marathon on Sunday 16th August. Two debuts at the distance and many PBs achieved.
Well done to Karen Eke and Rachael Smith who completed their first half marathons and to Rachel Palmer, Gavin Harris, Rob Donovan and Eamon Kennedy for huge PBs at the distance. Sarah Davis from Desborough (who has been running with us recently) also finished first vet lady - well done Sarah.
The Kimbolton Half is a great event starting and finishing in the grounds of the castle. Taking an anti-clockwise route through the picturesque countryside, the race offered a good PB potential apart from a stinging hill at 11.5 miles.
Thanks very much to the great support from NRR members to cheer runners on from the start and at mile 6 too.
