NRR at the Belvoir Challenge 2016
There were 5 of us doing the 15 (Elaine Palmer, Darren Baldwin, Suzanne Baldwin, Jocelyn Granger Roger Taylor) with Sharky Cotters doing the marathon distance.
Not as muddy as the 2015 race but enough of it. Hilly, trail, field and on roads through the private Belvior Estate . Spectacular views, woodlands and a really beautiful lake.
Superb refreshment stalls with everything you could imagine, and soup and cake in a hall at the end. T
he event was held in the village of Harby raising money for the school.The hall had rows of long tables covered with thank you drawings from the school children. it seemed like the whole village was involved with organising. There were 1500 runners/walkers. A hard slog. Perfect Jocelyn terrain.
