Northants Road Runners Cross Country Running

Northampton Road Runners participate in the Three Counties Cross Country League.  www.threecountiesxc.co.uk.

The League is made up of 13 teams from Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire:

• Ampthill & Flitwick Fliers
• Bedford Harriers
• Biggleswade AC
• Dunstable RR
• Leighton FR
• Northampton RR
• North Herts RR
• Olney Runners
• Stopsley Striders
• Team East Haddon
• Wellingborough & D AC
• Wootton RR.

Each course is 4.5 - 5 miles long on grass, tracks, shingle paths and mud but not on roads.

Entry is £4 and is open to any member who can manage this distance. Post race there is a well deserved roll, cake and hot drink  

All races are on Sundays and start at 10:30am unless otherwise stated

All members are welcome to run, you just need to put your name down at least a week before each race. You can enter all or just selected races. A club vest or t-shirt must be worn

Even if you don't score points for the team you are still helping the team. For every scoring member of another team that you are in front of, you are increasing their position and therefore their teams points.

Transport to the events can be arranged by car sharing and/or minibus
