7 and 9 mile route

A. Leave the uni along University Drive. Stay on the right hand side of Bedford
road and follow all the way until the traffic lights (at A45) and cross both sets.
B. After the 2nd crossing, follow the path round to the left and stay on this path
until it takes you onto the road by the whitewater centre, continue straight
past the Britannia on your left and then turn left onto the footpath.
C. When you reach the road again, follow it around to the right along Liliput road.
Keep following this path.
D. Just before the mini roundabout, with Walkerpack opposite, cross over onto
the left side of the road and turn left onto Buryport Rd and continue until the
end of this road.
E. SPLIT POINT FOR 5M / 7M ROUTE
F. Turn left onto Salthouse Rd and continue following this to the end just before
the ASDA warehouse and turn right, now onto Gowerton Rd.
G. Turn right to stay on Gowerton Rd (just before the hill leading to Wootton with
the 40mph signs at the bottom).
H. Keep going straight, this will turn into Caswell road (after the roundabout for
Costa)
I. TO MAKE THIS 9M – Turn right down Caswell road, follow to the end and turn
right, repeat the loop of Salthouse Rd/Gowerton rd
J. At the next roundabout, turn right on Rhosili Rd at In N Out garage.
K. Keep going straight, when you can see the Northants Fire building in front of
you, cross at the next available point and continue straight on Rhosili Rd to
the very end.
L. At the end, between Wickes and Quinton Major, go down the footpath.
M. Take the next right on the footpath to go under a bridge
N. Continue on the footpath until you reach the whitewater centre and turn left
over the bridge and follow round to the left.
O. Keep left where the path forks, will cross the bridge by Northampton skate
park, turn left.
P. Cross the road into Beckets park and continue by the canal until Beckets
Bridge straight back to the uni. Continue straight until you are back at the
start.
