The Grizzly
A very muddy and boggy Devon welcomed the annual Grizfest back to the seaside town of Seaton. NRR turned up with a mix of gnarly old Grizzlers and fresh faced young cubs on their first adventure.
13 of us set off on our bear hunt and when we got to the stream we couldn't go over it or round it, we went through it. When we got to the bog, we couldn't go over it or round it we went through it. At the stairway to heaven we all said a prayer when we reached the top. We ate our share of jelly-babies and supped up the fantastic support of the crowds who come out in force. All of us had tales of adventure and mis-adventure to share when we reached the finish and our cubs had all become true Grizzlies.
The great NRR support from friends and family added to the superb atmosphere of this iconic event.
This is not everyones cup of tea I will agree. However my cup of tea and fish n chips after made an old bear a very happy bear.
I don't care about your times. All that matters is that you are a true Grizzly now.
