The Seagrave Wolds Challenge
This race is also known as the crumble and custard run to many of us. As usual a good turn out from NRR made the Saturday trip up the road to Leicestershire.
The route of about 16 miles changes every year and always shows off some nice scenery as well as plenty of muddy parts.Times are irrelevant and many of us stopped for tea and cakes mid- race.
The reward at the end is soup and crumble as the mud sets on your legs.
A great day as always despite the horrible wet and murky weather. Some of us fell, got injured, went lame but we all made it back to the village hall for our rewards.
Times - who cares - we were all winners.
Jo Smith, Beckie Hollowell, Sally Garrett, Mark Garrett, Charlotte Yarker, Elaine and Rachel Palmer, Suzanne and Darren Baldwin - plus Casey a very wet and dirty mutt. Jocelyn Granger and John Fleming, as always, were both at this event.
